Event Description:

The Alliance For Excellence in Partnership with Campus Life & Fine Arts will host a three day event that expounds on the African American culture.  The Alliance For Excellence will inform insight about the origin of Black History Month that includes various poems, music, historian black artists and poets; a DVD about the black developments on Fayette in Martinsville, Virginia; and a black authoress from Tennessee will discuss her book, The Cotton Club Princess, and do a book signing. Refreshments.
